northwest by India, on the north by Bangladesh, and on the east by Myanmar and the
Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India. Its southern limit is a line between Sangaman Kanda,
Sri Lanka and the north westernmost point of Sumatra.
The Bay of Bengal is considered to be the world's largest water region referred to as a bay.
The Bay of Bengal encompasses a surface area of 839,000 square miles. Countries with
coastline along the Bay of Bengal include Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka.
The Bay of Bengal is a bay. It is in the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean. ... It is called the
"Bay of Bengal", because to the north are the Indian state of West Bengal and the country
of Bangladesh.it is an extended part of the Indian ocean. But most of the part the see landed
on part of Bangladesh.
