An Act to further amend the Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security Act,20l2
(No.5 of 2013).

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Seventieth Year of the

Republic oflndia, as follows :-

1. (l) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security short title' extent

(Amendment)Acl 2019. commencement.

A\ It shall extend to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.

(3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the OfficialGazelk.

2- Inthe ChhattisgarhFoodandNutrition SecurityAct,2012 (No. 5 of20l3), (hereinafter $ffLH:t
referred to as the Principal Act), in sub-section ( I ) of Section 2 -

(a) for clause O, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"0) "Excluded Households" means househblds which are notified

ineligible for any entitlement by the State Government under
sub-section (4) of Section l5 of this Actf'

3. Iir sub-section (4) of Section 15 of the PrincipalAct,- *:ljfill
(a) for the puncfuation colon ":", the punctuation full stop "." shall be
substituted.

(b) first proviso shall be omitted.
