Saudi Aramco has allowed contractors additional time to prepare bids
for the main offshore packages of its planned Zuluf upstream scheme,
which is estimated to be worth more than $7bn.
Aramco has postponed the commercial bid submission deadline for the
five main offshore engineering, procurement, construction and
installation (EPCI) packages to 19 September from 12 September.
Aramco has tendered the five Zuluf offshore packages to contractors
part of its Long-Term Agreement (LTA) pool.
Technical bids for the offshore packages were submitted by 25 August.
On the other hand, MEED recently reported that Aramco has moved the
technical bid submission deadline for the two main onshore EPC
packages to 11 September. The commercial bid submission date has
been pushed to 25 September.
