1. Explain in what way plastic harms environment based on the text above. (60 words)

If plastic is left in the ocean for a long period of time it can decompose into microplastics that
float on the surface of the water and cause coral bleaching. Most of the times, plastic can look
like jelly fish which is often mistaken by animals for food. Some animals like the leatherback
turtle eats jellyfish as prey and they are the most often to get tangled by plastic.
2. What can you do as someone who cares about the environment in relation with plastic
pollution? ? (60 words)

I can stop using plastic bags while buying things and instead use recyclable or normal bags. I can
also stop buying plastic bottles and water in the shops and instead use a water bottle to refill my
water. Lastly, I can also recycle plastics and recyclable items that I can and put it in a recycling
bin and stop lite

1. Based on the text , explain how humans and animals have mutual relationship (they need each
other ) . (60 words)

When the pandemic hit, all of us humans had to stay inside for quarantine because the virus is
contagious. Because of this, all the streets became empty and nearly no one is seen on them.
Some animals have come back to claim their long lost land and inhabit it again. Some animals
even use the city’s structures like waterways for a source of food. In turn, we need these
animals to help us hunt other animals and keep the ecosystem balanced.

2. Because of the current pandemic , how has it affected the canals in Venice ? (50 words)

Because of the current pandemic, less people are visiting the canals that means less litter are
thrown into the canals. The canals have been clearer now than they have been for 60 years. Due
to this, many sea creatures like jellyfish have come back to roam around without the fear of
human interference.
