2. Being a leader means defining and exhibiting moral and ethical courage and setting an example for
everyone in the company. With this statement, would you consider yourself a leader? Why or why not ?
I believe that I am a leader because I possess the qualities mentioned above. I believe that I
exhibit moral and ethical courage and I set good example among my fellow students.
3. What is the main disadvantage of only using quality control to check the quality of a product?
Checking the quality of the product has many factors and the sole use of quality control is not
enough to suffice the task and ensure that the production of products and service are in a high-quality
condition. It is important to consider other factors such as leadership, engagement of people, and
evidence-based decision making.
4. How will you manage the conflict within the Quality Management team?
To manage a conflict within the Quality Management team, it is important to be calm and
composed so that the right and just decisions are being imposed. I also believe that it is important to have
compassion among the employees and try to understand the root cause and investigate the situation
before taking any course of action that might affect the company and the well-being of the person involved.
5. Provide a conclusion with what you have learned from the discussion.
In today’s discussion I learned the key factors that affects quality management. I learned that in
order to attain quality management, the company and its leaders shall consider both technical things
(such as quality control charts and reports) and people management as these two are very crucial in a
company’s stability for them to deliver quality products and services among the clients/
