Adjectives as Modifiers

An ADJECTIVE describes a noun (person, place, thing) or a pronoun (word that substitutes a noun – I,
you, he, she, it, we, they). Adjectives usually answer one of these four questions about the nouns and pronouns
they modify: What kind? Which one? How many? How much?
 Example of adjective questions:
What kind? blue house small dog
Which one? this bicycle each state
How many? two balloons few boys
How much? no snow enough money

Practice A. Recognizing adjectives and the words they modify. Write the two adjectives in the sentences given
