MATERIALS NEEDED

Crochet thread of your choice

And a matching crochet hook

Suggested materials: Cotton thread 50g/306 yards per skein

1.5 mm hook

Yardage: 250-260 yards

Finished size: 14’’ in diameter

• Join most rounds with a SLST in the top of beginning stitch unless otherwise noted.
• «In next stitch» does not refer to chain stitches.
• Stitch counts for each round are listed at the end of the round.
• Pattern repeats for each round are marked with (*) and different color.
• Groups of stitches are listed in parentheses () or marked with (•).

STITCH GUIDE (U.S./American terminology)

ST Stitch HDC Half double crochet

CH Chain DC Double crochet

SLST Slip stitch TR Treble (triple) crochet – 2 y.o.

SC Single crochet DTR Double treble (triple) crochet - 3 y.o.

CSDC Chainless starting double crochet.This is a seamless beginning stitch, but you
may choose to CH 3 instead. Counts as first DC of a round; paired with FP-SLST
or BP-SLST counts as first FP-DC or first BP-DC accordingly.

FP-… Complete stitch around the front post of stitch indicated.Video.

BP-… Complete stitch around the back post of stitch indicated.Video.

…-SPLIT-… Two indicated stitches together. Holding back the last loop of both stitches,
make first stitch into the stitch or space indicated (2 loops on hook), make
second stitch into the stitch or space indicated (3 loops on hook). Yarn over,
pull through all three loops on hook.

…-POPCORN Complete the numbers of stitches into the stitch or space indicated, then drop
the loop from the hook, place the hook in the first stitch of the popcorn set,
grab the dropped loop, and pull it through.Video.

CLUSTER-… A set of stitches joined together at the top. Holding back the last loop of all
stitches in cluster set, complete the number of stitches into the stitch or space
indicated, yarn over, and pull through all loops on hook.
