Activity/Project Implementer : Julma P. Escol

I. Introduction
(discuss the nature, scope and plan of the report/may introduce also
the summary previous report)
First aid skills are versatile and can be applied in almost every
situation, whether it’s home, work, school, or a public space. People trained
with basic first aid skills are always prepared to help in the event of a medical
emergency.
Students are at high risk of incurring injuries whether slight or severe
through accidents. Besides easing the situation and preventing health
conditions getting worse after an emergency, first aid can save a life.
Equipping students with basic first aid skills by giving them first aid and
CPR training is essential due to the following reasons. Reducing mortality rate
through schools accidents According to an article by CDC of December 7,
2001, “Approximately two-thirds of all deaths among children and adolescents
aged 5–19 years result from injury-related causes. In addition, schools can
teach students the skills needed to promote safety” Probably, these are some
of the cases that can be prevented through first aid action. Due to that
learning even just basic first aid and life support is important.
This activity aims to provide knowledge of basic first aid and life
support to 1st year college students from Bicol Region with the help of Mr.
Jayson Gonzales Pante. He is a registered nurse and an AEMT ( Australasian
Registry of Emergency Medical Technician ) recognized overseas, especially
in middle east composed of Australia and other Asian countries.
A webinar will be conducted on June 8, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Tuesday afternoon.

FINDING AN APPROPRIATE SPEAKER FOR THE WEBINAR

I went to the city’s First Responder’s Office to ask if there’s an available

speaker for conducting a seminar. The speaker of the webinar was
recommended by an ex-classmate who has attended one of his seminars. He
was the vice president of our school’s SYDRRMG so they have attended a lot
of training and seminars.

SENDING A LETTER OF COMMUNICATION TO THE SPEAKER
