•FIRST AID
The immediate treatment using available facilities or materials and given to an
injured or ill person while waiting for medical assistance to arrive it includes
either emergency measures for life-threatening conditions which require
further medical attention or care for less serious injuries which may be
adequately treated on the spot. As an urgent care to an injured or unexpectedly
ill person, first aid also involves home care and self-care if medical assistance
is delayed or not available.

•FIRST AIDER
Deals with the whole situation involving the patient and the injury of illness.
The Philippine national red cross (PNRC) and mentally fir, they can go to their
local PNRC chapter and register for free. The one-week training focuses on
basic first aid and provides the need medical kit.
THE IMPORTANCE OF FIRST AID IS HARD TO
OVERESTIMATE.
THE LARGEST BENEFITS OF FIRST AID ARE:
1. It allows those trained with the potentially life saving ability to assist an
injured or ill person during a variety of emergency situations.

2. Knowledge in First Aid benefits the individuals themselves regardless of

whether an emergency affects them directly

3. While everyone can benefit from First Aid knowledge and training it is an
even greater benefit to those working or living with individuals who require
ongoing special attention
Why is there a need for that project to be
implemented in your community/your
own home?

-Learning of First Aid is essential for both

you as an individual and your society. It
helps you to support people who are
wounded before help arrives in the case of
an accident or emergency. First Aid skills
can be demonstrated at home, at work, or in
public areas because the more trained First
Aid individuals there are in a group, the
better the community becomes.

If an accident occurs in the workplace, in

the home or a public room, it may worsen
the situation by being a helpless witness to
an emergency.

Therefore, it is so important to have at least

a clear understanding of First Aid for as
many people as possible.
