WASTE DISPOSAL

Special waste
- residual material deriving from industrial activities, agricultural, workshop, commercial and service activities
that, for quality or amount, are not declared equal with urban waste.
- Obsolete and deteriorated machines and devices
- In relation with machine use and maintenance, the following are considered dangerous waste:
- solvents (for example the which used to remove glues from rolls or glue nozzle)
- residual oils and grease
- materials contaminated by oil or solvent
- dusts (i.e.: residual dusts from filter cleaning) or residual amount of superabsorbent (SAP).
The following are considered are considered not dangerous special waste:
In any case, present environment protection laws in the User’s country have to be respected.
Fixed and moveable containers, meant to contain special waste, must feature suitable resistance requisites
related to chemical – physical properties and danger features of the contained waste.
Containers in which dangerous products or matters are stored must, to highlight their contents’ nature, carry
suitable labels and indicators.
The laws in force in the European Union for the protection of the environment foresee the obligation of record of
the loads and discharging of any special waste.
10.5 Disposal
The discarded substances must be disposed of according to present laws in the country where the machine is
installed.
The substances produced by the machine during maintenance and/or demolition are:
- exhausted lubricants
- recovered materials (covers, electric cables, etc.)
- plastic and rubber matter (pipes, gaskets, links etc.)
- iron matter (links, ball bearings, cogs etc.)
Polluting matters must be disposed of according to indications on the materials safety schedules (if featured)
and in the laws of the country where the machine is installed.
