My Daily Reflective Journal

At last! Today is my first day of teaching! I woke up earlier than

the usual time so I can prepare the things I will going to use and set my
mind right. I think I was pressured today than I ever was before. My
palms are sweaty, my chest was heavy. After the monitoring, I practiced
and analyze my content for the 100th time hahaha. I start my zoom
meeting 15 minutes before the scheduled time and I was surprised
because some of the students also joined the meeting 15 minutes before
our time which made me more nervous.

To make the story short, I AM ECSTATIC. MY FIRST DAY AS A

TEACHER WENT REALLY WELL. My first day had me filled with
fear beforehand but left me elated by the end.
I am very proud of myself. I managed to finish it successfully under a lot
of pressure.
After the class, I had a one-on-one talk with Ma’am Loida. She told me I
did a great job. It was very fulfilling moment for me.
The engagement of the students was not that powerful but I think they
were engaged at that time than they were last week.
I want to try things and explore more about my teaching strategies and
techniques.
