questions below with your personal opinion and information from the text.

“The Culture and Traditions from the United Kingdom”

The United Kingdom comprises of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and
the Channel Islands and includes 4 nationalities: English (England), Welsh (Wales), Scottish
(Scotland) and Irish (Ireland). The largest cities are London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool,
Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh.

The government from the United Kingdom is constituted of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It
is a constitutional monarchy, the present sovereign is Queen Elizabeth II but she has no real
political power.

First impressions are a really important aspect of British culture. Introducing yourself and others
in the correct way is fraught with various do's and dont's of etiquette. When shaking hands
people may give you their name without saying "Hello" or anything else. It can come across as
a bit unfriendly, but it's not considered to be rude. In an informal situation you may see social
kissing (often just a peck on the cheek), this is acceptable between men and women and also
between women who know each other very well, but it is rare that you will see two British men
kissing, even if it is only on the cheek.

Related to Culture, the United Kingdom has been a major force in global youth culture since the
heyday of the Beatles and Rolling Stones in the 1960s. It has a rich literary heritage
encompassing the works of English writers such as William Shakespeare and Charles Dickens,
Scot Robert Burns, Welshman Dylan Thomas and Northern Irishman Seamus Heaney.

The United Kingdom has influenced the world more than any other nation or people. Their
influence on the world led to remarkable changes to how human beings live and a catalyst in
the evolution of human societies towards the modern era we live in now. The United Kingdom
has helped to lead the world nations and people through changes on how humans exist
achieving this through a list of contributions that surpass any other nations. The range and
variation of the United Kingdom influence is staggering, it has shaped the world through
Innovation, Invention (trains, T.V., phone etc), Civil Liberties (magna, carta), Common Law,
