EPSEVG - PTRL 2021

International students & tandem language learning

The aim of this programme is to join local students with international students in order to foster cultural and linguistic exchange. Foreign students will be
assigned a local “study buddy” that will meet them, show them around the city and the campus, give them information about transport, campus, etc. The
most important part of this exchange is language learning in tandems, so that both students can learn each other’s language.

For the tandem exchange, you’ll have weekly meetings in which you’ll speak each other’s language half of the time. For example, in a 1-hour meeting of an
exchange Catalan/Spanish-English, you’ll spend 30 minutes speaking Catalan/Spanish and 30 minutes speaking English.
**PLEASE NOTE – Due to Covid, at this time, meetings should take place on-line via a platform of your choice (Meet, Skype, Whatsapp etc.)
