Lesson
Summary:
This lesson is to give children the tools to problem solve and use techniques to regulate their
emotions/feelings as well as the emotions/feelings of those around them and their peers. Due to the
age of the children technology is used in combination of other teaching methods to keep their
attention

25 minutes to give for these activities each day. I will have a visual schedule so that the children know

Making zones od regulation book with actual pictures of the child doing things he has challenges with. For example,
When I’m in the red zone I’m mad (a picture of the friend sad), the next page can be when I’m in the red zone I can take
a drink of water, ask for a hug(have pictures of the friend doing those things).
Vocabulary: using different feelings words that children may not normally hear like frustrated and annoyed instead of mad,
surprised, disappointed.
