ABSTRACT
El Filibusterismo is a novel that is related to Noli Me Tangere during the time between the plot lines of
Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, although he appears to have abandoned his former ideal of
eliminating Spain's oppression with freedom, language, and peace. This review is about Jose Rizal's novel,
which has an impact on our society; it may contain information about politics and the country's desire to
know the truth, as well as many characters and events mentioned in the novel. As the novel progresses, he
becomes increasingly enraged; Don Simoun is a captain-confidant. general's Simoun began organizing riots
and stashing firearms in the store of an ally, encouraging the government to make wrong decisions and
misuse their authority to trigger a revolution among the populace. At the newlyweds' wedding reception
(the bride is the ex-girlfriend of one of Basillo and Isagani Villamor's friends), sabotaging Simoun's plan, the
lamp will stay lit if someone attempts to turn the wick, it will explode and kill everyone important members
of civil society and the church hierarchy inside the house, but there are many characters about the part of
Jose Rizal's novel known in Noli me tangere, Doc Victorina. He was outraged since the revolution failed, and
he was asking God as to why he was the one who was suffering rather than those who had abandoned the
Filipino people. The priest clarifies that all consequences will be administered in due course. Ibarra died
while clinging to the priest's hand. The latter praised the former and threw away all of Ibarra's remaining
diamonds, hoping that they would be utilized for good in the future. But concerning this review, we want to
know the truth for our nation and whether it would improve our community.

Millon asks for his full name and makes fun of teaching of

how his last name ‘Penitente’ does not fit him. He

then orders Placido Penitente to recite the lesson.

Because he is nervous, Placido Penitente makes

more than 3 mistakes. Padre Millon finds Placido’s

name in the roll call and points out 15 absences.

Placido Penitente argues that he was only absent

5 times (including today). Padre Millon says that

since he rarely does roll call, he places 5 rayitos

Padre Millon says he has not caught Placido

Placido Penitente has an outburst and leaves

like him would have no time to attend the

Padre Millon rants for a long time, and the

students are relieved, but now feel hatred

instead of enthusiasm for their classes. The

chapter ends talking about how the doctrines of
