What are the Effects of Technology on Learning?

Effects of Technology on Learning was my monograph topic for bachelor

degree. For this purpose, I have researched and found information about this topic
and defended it outstandingly. Now, I would like to write an essay about the same
topic for ICCR scholarship. I have solved this problem during my university
career. So I would like to share it as essay with you for ICCR scholarships.

As we have heard, modern technology has great effects on learning process.

It means that technology and learning process cannot be separated. Specifically,
Modern technology has great and deep impact on the process of learning.
However, these impacts can be useful and even harmful by some ways for learners.
In this essay I would like to describe some positive and negative impacts of
technology on learning process.

At the beginning of that monograph, I have found that without technology

learning process couldn’t be as completed as with technology. For example,
students who access technology during their learning process they can get higher
marks than those who don’t access technology. It is also said, that without modern
technology learning process cannot be conducted, even if it is conducted, it will be
full of shortcomings and deficiencies. Beyond, technology can effect on the future
of each personality. Such as, if someone better know about the usage of technology
he/she can be successful to perform his/her responsibility with great qualities and
easily. Meanwhile, technology can help to improve your abilities and become
easier learning process. At whole, these were some of the positive points of
technology on learning.

In the second step, I have found some of the negative impacts of technology
on learning which I would like to mention here. The first bad impact of technology
is wasting of time. Many students, especially the students of schools don’t know
the exact usage of technology. So they waste their crucial time dis purposefully.
For example, one student from 8th class who had first position in the class, but once
upon a time his uncle bought him a mobile, as he was too busy with his mobile so
he lost his position and even he failed during the exams. The second bad impact is
the problems of eyes and ears and even can create some inner problems in human
body. As result, technology can be ineffective in some ways for cadets and
learners.

Consequently, it can be said that technology and learning are like a soul and
a body and even harmful with some ways. First, technology can be effective and
learning process will be imperfect without technology. Technology also gives extra
abilities to students and give them opportunities of better future. Beyond of
effectiveness technology can be harmful for students’ ears, eyes and even inner
body. Last of all, these were the positive and negative impacts of technology on
learning process.
