air pollution control, the techniques employed to reduce or eliminate the emission
into the atmosphere of substances that can harm the environment or human health.
eto yung mga ginagawang hakbang para masolusyonan o makontrol ang polusyon sa
hangin.
INPUT CONTROL----------------
iniiwasan at nililimitahan bago pa lumala ang pollution
1. More people require more resources, which means that as the population
increases, the Earth's resources deplete more rapidly. since dumadami ang tao mas
mabilis maubos ang ating mga natural resources.
2. Reducing your energy usage reduces the demand for fossil fuels and, in turn,
lower the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
3. dito hinihikayat ang mga tao na gumamit ng mga bagay o kagamitan na mahihina ang
konsumo at yung mga bagay na mabababa sa VOC or volatile organic compounds. ito
yung mga chemicals na makikita in many products that we use to build and maintain
our homes.
4. Plastic waste is one of many types of wastes that take too long to decompose.
Normally, plastic items take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills. WHILE the
plastic bags we use in our everyday life take 10-20 years to decompose, and plastic
bottles take 450 years.
5. Energy that is ecologically safe and renewable. The most widely used source is
hydroelectric power, which currently supplies some 6.6% of the world's energy
needs. Other examples of non-polluting sources are solar energy, tidal energy, wave
energy and wind energy. because
Electricity from renewable resources does not contribute to climate change or
local air pollution since no fuels are combusted.
OUTPUT CONTROL------------
DENR AT EMB sila yung nagmomonitor ng mga lugar n dapat ng aksyonan dahil sa mataas
na polution tulad ng mga OPEN DUMPSITE.
RA 8749-------------------
Republic Act No. 8749, otherwise known as the Philippine Clean Air Act, is a
comprehensive air quality management policy and program which aims to achieve and
maintain healthy air for all Filipinos.
COVERAGE OF CLEAN AIR ACT------------------
● Mobile Sources refer to vehicles like cars, trucks, buses, jeepneys, tricycles,
motorcycles, and vans.
● Point Sources refer to stationary sources such as industrial firms and the
smokestacks of power
plants, hotels, and other establishments.
● Area Sources refer to stationary of emission other than those mentioned above.
These include
smoking, burning of garbage, and dust from construction, unpaved ground, and so
forth.
