with Concealed Wiring, Water Supply and Sanitary arrangements, installation of
0.50HP Electric Motor, Architectural finishing of the building etc., the estimate also
includes reasonable provision for the contingencies and petty supervision charges.

SPECIFICATION REPORT

FOUNDATIONS: The foundation for all columns will be taken to a depth of 1.50m
and to size of 1.20m x 1.20m. The foundation concrete shall be of 1:5:10 mix, using
40mm and down graded hard broken granite metal other than granite to size of 1.20m
x 1.20m and to a thickness of 0.15m. Above that RCC 1: 1 ½ :3 for column footing of
size 1.20m x 1.20m with a thickness of 0.15m at free end and 0.38 at column end will
be laid. There will be flooring itself. The sides of trenches are to be filled with
excavated earth. The size of the column to be adopted is 0.23m x 0.30m using RCC 1:
1 ½: 3mix
BASEMENT: The walls in basement are to be constructed with Brick Masonry in
cement mortar 1:8 to a width of 0.23m and a height of 0.60m. The basement is to be
filled with carted earth collected from outside and is to be well compacted and
consolidated. There will be a continuous Plinth beam of size 0.23m x 0.30m using
RCC 1: 1 ½: 3mix
SUPERSTRUCTURE: The walls in Ground Floor and shall be raised to a height of
3.00m above the basement and above the slab and to a thickness of 0.23m using Brick
Masonry in cement mortar 1:8 using 2nd class table moulded country bricks. There
will be a continuous lintel beam alround to a thickness of 0.10m and to a width of
0.23m RCC 1: 1 ½:3mix. There will be a continuous ‘T’ beams of size 0.23m x 0.30m
using RCC1:1 ½ :3mix.
SUNSHADE: Reinforced cement concrete1: 1 ½ :3 mix, using 20mm and down
graded hard broken granite metal is to be adopted. The thickness at the support is
0.75m from the face of wall.
ROOFING: The Roofing will be with RCC 1:1 ½: 3mix using 20mm and
downgraded hard broken granite metal. The thickness of slab is 0.11cm and the
reinforcing steel shall not be less than 0.12% of grass sectional area and should be in
accordance with the Engineer’s design details.
FLOORING: Vitrified tile flooring over 100mm thick cement concrete 1:5:10 bed in
Ground floor.
PLASTERING: Both external and internal walls are to be plastered with cement
mortar 1:5 - 12mm thick. The Ceiling will be plastered with cement mortar 1:3-12mm
thick
WOOD WORK: All the wood work is to be carried out using well seasoned
Country wood and the sizes are as per the detailed drawings and specifications.
PAINTING WALLS: Two coats with best white cement over plastered surface of
walls and ceiling.
PAINTING WOOD WORK: Two coats with best synthetic enamel paint over a
primary coat of white lead.
ELECTRIFICATION: The Electrification will be Concealed type and number of
points will be as per actual requirements.
WATER SUPPLY: Bore well, 0.50 HP Electric Motor.
SANITARY ARRANGEMENTS: Septic tank along with soak pit. The entire work
is to be executed in accordance with Andhra Pradesh detailed standards specification
and other standard specifications
