Project summary

• Project Description:
➢ Jabor landfill has an cover area of about 30 hectares. It could handle
approximately 500 tonnes of MSW daily
➢ A steep slope of 4V:1H was built up to a maximum 11.5m height with
vegetation facing. The total length of the steep slope is 400m.
➢ Miragrid® GX geogrids was selected as the reinforcement and sandy soil
was used as the reinforced fill material while prefabricated BRC steel
basket is used to facilitate and form the reinforced soil wall geometry.
➢ Biodegradable erosion protection mats Envirofelt® CF was installed at
the slope surface to maintain the moisture and trapped the grass seed to
expedite the slope vegetation.
