ESSAY. Discuss the following:

1. Of the 14 categorizations of multiple talents, choose only 10 and discuss each

Mathematical
Mathematically gifted students are often capable of high levels of problem
solving and inductive thinking. They display high levels of logical reasoning, high self-
efficacy, and intrinsic motivation for the subject.

Visual-spatial
is the ability to perceive the visual information in the environment, to represent it
internally, to integrate it with other senses and experiences, to derive meaning and
understanding, and to perform manipulations and transformations on those
perceptions. It is the first language of the brain. People with highly developed visual-
spatial skills pay more attention to the world around them. Through their visual-spatial
work children are able to develop and practicing their many different skills.

People-oriented
A kind of student who always sees the good side of his classmate, seatmate, or
schoolmate. Place more importance on the feelings and happiness of others. He concerned
with building relationships and keeping people happy.

Task Oriented
A kind of person who’s always busy. They always focus on their to-do list and
things they hope to accomplish. They concerned with productivity and efficiency. And
also, they have concrete goals and detailed lists.

Self centered
Self-centered people  tend to ignore the needs of others and only do what's best for
them. You can also call them egocentric, egoistic, and egoistical. In the seventeenth
century, however, self-centered meant "fixed or stationary."

Music-oriented
A person who’s fond in music, he maybe made music one of his
encouragement, inspiration or motivation to his study. This kind of student can
easily compose songs of their own. And maybe he fond of playing guitar etc.

Sports-minded
They are the one who fond playing sports like basketball, badminton, table tennis,
etc. Every time there’s activity in school about sports they always join in the activity.

Dance-oriented
 A student that fond in dancing or he’s a dance lover. He makes dance one of his
hobby as will as inspiration in life.

Dramatist
Student who love to join role play, love to act. This way, he can excel and makes her
self happy.

Naturalist
Ability to identify, classify and manipulate elements in environment.

2. how do your account to these statements: a. “there are persons who are intelligent but not
diligent” and b. “there are individuals who are diligent but not intelligent”? explain each. Which
do you prefer, being intelligent or diligent?

“There are persons who are intelligent but not diligent”

I will agree in this phrase, it this world full of intelligent person but you cannot see that,
they are diligent. Intelligent people do not give so much effort, fucos and
conscientiousness in one's work or duties. It is because they already knowledgeable in that
work or duty. They do not excert so much care and effort in that field because they do
believe that they’re capable and expert in that field.

“There are individuals who are diligent but not intelligent”

I agree, there are individual who excert so much effort in their work because they don’t have
enough knowledge in that field. Being diligent doesn’t mean you’re intelligent too, but being
diligent give you so much courage to do things with so much fucos so that you will do that work
in order to accomplish it.

Which do you prefer, being intelligent or diligent?

I prefer being diligent, it is because diligent person is he who shows persistent

and hardworking effort in doing something. In this way, diligence may rather be
regarded as a combination of both hard work and patience because being persistent
requires patience. It is also one of the most important attributes of a person.

3. Does a person with multiple talents have a well-rounded personality? Why?

Person with multiple talents have a well-rounded personality. It is because
someone who is skilled, capable or knowledgeable in a lot of different things, or
something that covers a lot of different areas or subjects. Someone who is good in
school, plays sports and has a good relationship with his family.
