(Addendum I to DGS Order 05 of2022)

Sub.:Revised standard oDeratins Drocedures for cruise activities in tndian waters - res.

Cruise activity was permitted in Indian waters vide DGS order 3 I of 2021 dated
22.09.2021. Further, the revised DGS order 05 of 2022 along with Standard Operating
Procedure was also issued on 07 .02.2022.

2. In view of the significant decline in the COVID 19 cases across the country, the

Ministry of Home Affairs has issued order no. 40-312020-DM-l (A) dated 25.02.2022 to
implement risk assessment based approach on the op€ning of economic activities.

3. Therefore, taking cognizance of the above and risk based approach, the SOP issued
vide DGS order 05 of 2022 dated 07 .02.2022 is amended with regards to the following:

3.1 The vessel is permitted to operate with 100% capacity subject to complying with
provisions of their respective disease outbreak management plan in respect of medical
isolation areas.

3.2 The para (D and (iii) of the annexure I (General instructions for commencement of
cruise travel) of the SOP issued vide DGS order 05 of 2022 is deleted.

4. The addendum I of the DGS order 05 of 2022 comes into force with immediate
effect.
