With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:

Learning Outcome 2: Describe in a written text personal experience, daily life


situations and past events using the appropriate grammatical structures and the
vocabulary studied in the contents.

Learning Outcome 3: Express in an oral way personal experience, daily life


situations and past events using appropriate pronunciation, grammatical structures
and the vocabulary studied in the contents.

The activity consists of:

STEP 1 – CONTENT REVIEW

1.1 Go to Learning / E book /Online Content English

E-book and do all the activities proposed in it.

STEP 2 – WRITING ACTIVITY.

Imagine that you are the owner of a travel agency, and you are going to design an
itinerary to travel to the unknow place selected in Task 2. To do this follow the next
steps:

2.1 According to the travel guide designed in Task 2. You must complete the Annex 4.
Travel itinerary chart. You can download it from the Learning Environment.

LEARNING TIP: Use modal verbs, phrasal verbs, conditionals, gerunds, and
infinitives to write complete sentences.

intonation, then repeat it as many times as you need to practice your pronunciation.

STEP 3 - SPEAKING ACTIVITY.

3.1 Make a video pretending that you are a tourist promoter. During the video
recording you must show your face and the slides you made while you are talking about
your destination. Your video must have a maximum duration of 4 minutes.

The video must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo or any cloud storage (OneDrive,
Dropbox, Google Drive).

NOTE: Be careful with your video privacy settings, it must be set as public or listed for
your tutor and classmates to be able to watch it.

3.2 Post the link for the video on the forum so your tutor and your classmates can give
you feedback.

3.3 Now, after watching your classmates’ videos, take the place of a tourist, and ask
2 questions related to the video for your colleagues to answer them. You must also
answer the questions that your colleagues ask you. Use gerunds and infinitives in
your questions and answers.

STEP 4 - FINAL DOCUMENT

4.1 Consolidate all the activities done in this Task in a PDF document and upload it
individually on the Evaluation environment. Remember that the product of this task
must comply with the APA standards.

For the development of the activity consider that:

In the Initial Information Environment, you must: Check for the initial and
closing dates.

In the Learning Environment, you must: Review and complete the exercises
proposed in modules 3 and 4 from the E book/Online English contents.
Participate and upload individual activities in Discussion forum - Unit 2 - Task 3 -
Planning the trip.

In the Evaluation Environment, you must: Submit a PDF document containing the
development of the individual activities.

references. You can use the template “Annex 5. Template travel itinerary” found in
Learning Environment.

Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this activity must
comply with the APA style.
In any case, make sure you comply with the rules and avoid academic plagiarism.
You can review your written products using the Turnitin tool found in the virtual
campus.
