1. Introduction
You have a lift built according to the latest
guidelines for engineering and safety.
Your lift should be serviced at regular intervals by a
maintenance company to keep it safe and ensure
that it has a long service life.

The maintenance company has to satisfy

the requirements of the standard EN
13015 and have sufficient insurance
cover.

These maintenance instructions have the purpose of

allowing you as the operator to operate it safely and
cost-effectively for many years to come. However, it
does not supersede national regulations.

You are responsible for the utilization and

operation of this lift. This is the reason
why it is also in your interests to keep
these instructions up to date.

If you do not operate this lift yourself, you should

transfer the responsibility to another party and give
the other party these instructions. The party
responsible has to be capable of identifying
malfunctions and damage to the lift and switch it
off as required. Furthermore, there should always be
a means of evacuating passengers should it become
necessary.
