DETAILED LESSON PLAN

4.1 Introductory
Activity 1. Checking of attendance and PE uniform
2. Warm –up Activities ( Note : Teacher must explain concept of mirror image with reference to

Group the class into 3 groups . ( Grupoha ang mga bata sa tulo ka grupo. )
They will do the following : ( Ilang himoon ang sumusunod)

Group A
Each member of the group will imitate the movement of a crab and moves around the chair
4 meters away from the starting line.
( Kada miyembro sa grupo sundon ang lihok sa kasag og motuyok sa lingkoranan nga
gibutang 4 meters ang gilay-on gikan sa starting line .)

Group B
Each member of the group will imitate the movement of an elephant and moves around
the chair 4 meters apart from the starting line.) ( walking )
( Tanang grupo sundon ang lihok sa usa ka elepante og motuyok sa lingkuranan nga
gibutang 4 meters ang gilay-on gikan sa starting line. ) ( maglakaw )

Group C
Each member of the group will imitate the movement of a horse and moves around the
chair 4 meters away from the starting line. ( gallop )
( Tanang grupo sundon ang lihok sa usa ka kabayo og motuyok sa lingkuranan nga
gibutang 4 meters ang gilay-on gikan sa starting line. )

Ask :
Whose group arrives first ?( Kinsang grupo ang unang naabot o nahuman ? Ngano man ? )
Whose group arrives last ? ( Kinsang grupo ang ulhing naabot o nahuman ? Ngano man ? )
What are the different movements you have done in the activity ?
(Unsa ang mga nagkalain-laing lihok ang inyong nabuhat ? )

Now let us have another activity.


Note : (You may use other songs. Groupings could also be changed.)
The pupils will group themselves into 5 and perform the gallop movement with the music “
Baby shark “ ( If there’s no available music to play , let the children sing. Each of them will
perform the movements following the figures in each station. When the first player reaches
the finish line the second player will follow until all of the members are finished playing.
4.2 Activity There will be declared winners for Round 1 and Round 2.
Round 1
10 minutes In Fast Movement
Station 1 - Gallop in a Straight line
Station 2 - Gallop in a figure 8
Station 3 - Gallop in zigzag

This time the children will move in a slow movement like a turtle with “ Bahay Kubo “ music.
Round 2
In Slow movement
Station 1 - Turtle walk in a square
Station 2 - Turtle walk in a triangle
Station 3 - Turtle walk in a circle
4.3 Analysis Teacher will ask the following questions:
5 minutes What did you feel while your doing the activity ?
( Unsa ang inyong gibati samtang gihimo ninyo ang buluhaton ? )
How will you describe the different movements? Were you able to perform the different movements
properly ?

What are the movements you have done ? ( Unsa nga mga lihok ang inyong nabuhat ? )
What animals have done those movements ? ( Unsa nga mga hayop ang nihimo sa mga lihok nga
inyong gisunod ? )
How did the turtle moves ? ( Giunsa paglihok sa turtle ? )
How did the horse move ? ( Giunsa paglihok sa kabayo ? )

4.4 Abstraction Let the class generalize the lesson by asking the following questions :
5 minutes 1. How did you move while singing “ Baby Shark “.
( Giunsa ninyo paglihok samtang nagkanta og “ Baby Shark “ ? )
2. How did you move while singing “ Bahay Kubo “ ?
( Giunsa ninyo sa paglihok samtang nagkanta og “ Bahay Kubo ? “ )
