social, cultural, and environmental? Tourist places experience both positive and negative effects
as a result of tourism. Economic, social, cultural, and environmental factors are the typical
realms of tourism impacts. Tourism's economic impact is felt in both a direct and indirect way,
with direct economic consequences occurring when commodities such as lodging and
entertainment services are sold. Direct tourism impacts are influenced by residents, visitors,
businesses, and various levels of government or local to federal.Authenticity is the desire to
experience a diverse cultural setting in its natural setting. Although cultural tourism offers
chances for understanding and education, it also has negative consequences. At the local level,
there are three broad effects: commodification of culture, demonstration impact, acculturation of
another culture. People's yearning for more real and difficult experiences drives their travel
destinations further away from the planet's few remaining pure and natural surroundings.
Negative influence could result in the obliteration of the very experience that people are looking

variety of ways or strategies that can be used once the planning goals have been established.in
order to achieve themDifferent approaches or strategies may be employed for the sub-areas
within a single destination region. Some sub-areas may have plans that are focused on the
economy.

Plan development phase


The last step of the tourism planning process is the development of the plan. The plan includes
the actions needed to achieve the objectives, implement the strategy, and satisfy the planning
goals. A comprehensive plan deals with the development, marketing, industry organization,
awareness and support services. Once the tourism plan has been laid out in detail, it is then
written in formal reports, either by a private tourism-consulting firm or by public sector tourism
officials. The tourism plan reports are presented in two parts.
The first is the summary reports containing the plan itself, while the second is a more detailed
technical report containing all the research, findings and conclusions produced during the
planning process. The reports are usually prepared in draft. These are then reviewed and
revised by public and private sector representatives before they are finalized for publication.
