Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021 ( School calendar of
Executive Activities for School Year 2021-2022), the Department of Education
Summary (DepEd) reiterates the conduct of In-Service Training (INSET) for
teachers from January 31 to February 5, 2022. Hence at the end
of this training, participants are expected to expand knowledge,
skills and attitudes on processes, tools, and approaches that are
useful for effective and efficient delivery of instruction under the
new normal.

The first two days of the five-day mid-year break was spent to
evaluate the school’s progress attained in the implementation of
the educational programs, projects and activities (PPAs), as well as
to review the performance of teachers and school staff in order to
address concerns through collaborative effort. The last-three days
was devoted for the conduct of the school-based In-Service
training(INSET) activities for the teachers continued professional
growth and development.
On the first day, the training started with a short program
hosted by the Grade 7 teachers, with the following parts. Singing of
the National Anthem was conducted by Mrs. Marilyn D. Tagao,
Mrs. Rubina V. Macario for the prayer, Setting of House Rules by
Mrs. Elsie H. Abul, Mrs. Lorena G. Balisi for Setting of
Expectations. The training proper was started right away after the
opening program was finished. The Performance Implementation
Review was facilitated by Mrs. Dhanzhen A. Uy, Marialen B.
Galapon and Germar C. Tamano.
The second day, was hosted by the Grade 8 teachers. They set
the mood of the participants with a Zumba dance. The second day
was a continuation of the PIR of the 6 Programs/Projects and
Innovations namely: Journalist, Learning Resource Management,
Intensification of School-Home Community Partnership in the
midst of Pandemic, SOAR High SINHS, SINHS CHAMPS, and
Instructional Supervision. The session was successfully done.

On the last day of the In-service training, the topic tackled was
Facilitating 21st Century Teachers delivered by Sir Wilson B.
Barbosa Jr.. The session was very engaging because all the
participants were very active and very participative. The morning
session were very productive because the teachers come up with
their own output. After which is an Open Forum addressing
different problems and concerns of teachers and school
In the afternoon was the closing program. It was started exactly
at 1pm in the afternoon. The program was successfully done after
all teachers received their certificates.

M & E Analysis Based on the result on M and E Google forms assessment tool, it
showed that there were average of 33 or 92% teachers who strongly
agreed while average 2 or 8% teachers who agreed in terms of the
program management, attainment of objectives, delivery of content,
provision of support materials, program management team,
training venue and speakers. The reason behind this was the
program was properly planned and executed an expected. Online
cooperation and participation were observed from the participants.
General Comments The speakers delivered their presentation excellently. The topics
and Issues are all useful and enlightening.
