As a Material Management consultant proposed the solution to them in the area concerned and
following were made possible

• Centralized purchase from Mumbai as well as decentralized purchase from each branch
location
• Developed a programme to display the availability of unrestricted use stock and pending
receipts in other locations against each material
• Option for converting PR created by purchase personnel only into Purchase order
• Option for creating a reservation for transfer of stock from different storage locations(
Support stock to Sales stock) for meeting exigencies such as delay in shipment from the
vendor and later replenish the support stock
• Purchasing – third party (High seas sale & sale in transit) & Services
• Rebates (Accumulation of PO value after Invoice amount paid to vendor)
