SUBJECT : GUIDANCE PROGRAM CURRICULUM EXITS AND PARTNERSHIPS

DATE : May 19, 2021

1. Per DM OUCI- 2021-00 15, issued by Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio,

specified among others the datelines to be observed in relation to the implementation
of Career Guidance Program SY 2020-2021.
2. The said policy stipulated therein the following aims to wit:
A. Ensure the continuity of the career development process,
B. Employ systematic set of activities and procedures in the implementation of the
Career Guidance program; and
C. Support mechanisms that contribute to the attainment of the Department’s Career
guidance program.
3. Thus, this Division adopts certain methods to conduct Curriculum Exits for all Grade
12 learners for SY 2020-2021 commencing May 26 onwards (refer to the attached
grid of activities) through GIYA-On-Air mode of delivery and virtual conferences.
There shall be no face-to-face conduct of orientation due to the current Covid 19
upsurge of infected persons within the province.
4. All secondary school heads through their Guidance
Counselors/Designates/Advocates must establish partnership with the following:

The District GC coordinator must work together with the GC designates of other
schools to in place the activities identified in this memorandum. The activities must
be documented and submit the same to the Division Guidance Program Coordinator
a week after the activity, copy of which shall be furnished to all partners involved.
6. For the Junior High School, career guidance competencies are already included in
the Homeroom Guidance Modules; while, for Grade 10 the Multiple Career
Development Pathways (MCDP) Toolkit from SEAMEO-INNOTECH can be used as
a supplementary material as deemed necessary. It can be downloaded from the
DepEd Learning Resource Portal.
7. Expenses relative to the holding of the Curriculum Exits activities shall be charged to
school MOOE or other local funds available subject to the usual government
accounting rules and procedures.
8. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
