Career Research Essay

The career I decided I want to pursue is Engine and Other Machine Assemblers. In this

career you are required to build, fix, and assemble machines, engines, and other technical

properties. It allows employees to learn how to operate, control, and inspect machines and

engines. The job is not easy as it requires constant standing, sitting, and standing on ladders. One

thing that really motivated me to go into this career is that it allows me to use my strengths and

values.

There are also many skills you need and will learn throughout the employment in this

occupation. Education can also help you learn more about these skills. For this position you need

to be very good paying attention to detail, you need to be able to communicate effectively, and

you should have good critical thinking skills. All these skills will help you be successful in this

field. Some additional skills you will learn in the job include operations monitoring, quality

control analysis, and reading comprehension. Being good with technology can also help you be

successful in this field.

For this position a high school diploma is required but some college education is highly

recommended. The more education you have the more opportunities you will have in this

industry. Machine engineering is a career that can really help you in this field, the higher

education you have the more opportunities and the higher your salary can be. Currently the

$57,000. This can increase the higher the education is given and the training. Some colleges and
