 Industrial Visit Overview
Early morning around 10:00 am we started our
Industrial visit. There are basically 3 companies we were
about to go.
1. Balaji Industries.
2. Pelican.
3. Jyoti Industries.
1st we go to the BALAJI Industries. We learn there that
how chips and farali cheveda products of balaji were
actually made by single piece of potato. It is a food
industry so we learn most of stuff related to food. We
learn that maintenance is very important for any industry
related to machines. After completing our successful visit
at Balaji Industry we went to Pelican Company. Pelican is
a manufacturing company. It produces plastic printing
machines that are used for mass production. At there we
saw same equipments like CNC machines, manual &
automatic lathe machines, laser cutting machines,
plasma cutting machines, automatic welding machines,
coating process. Then In short we learned every
manufacturing process in pelican. After learning about all
these machines we finally go where CNC machines are
made. means we go to Jyoti Industry in Rajkot. Jyoti is
very big industry and it makes automatic and manual
 lathe machines and drilling machines. And that’s how we
end our visit. We learn lot in this visit all companies have
great machineries from which we learned all processes
which we only studied theoretically. All students learn
something new in this visit.

Balaji Company Profile:

Balaji Wafers began as a micro-retail enterprise in 1974,
managed by the Virani brothers at Astron Cinema,
Rajkot. By 1982, spurred by the initiative of Virani
brothers, this grew to a home-based manufacturing
venture. A decade later, the brothers set up an
international standard automatic plant in Gujarat, with
steps to increase capacity and quality. In 2000, Balaji
Wafers installed its first fully automatic plant. By 2014,
Balaji Wafers captured a 70% market share in snacks
market. Today, the company employs more than 1800
personnel in their Rajkot and Valsad manufacturing
facilities. Balaji has the capacity to manufacture 650,000
kg of potato wafers, along with 500,000 kg of savories
per day.

Conclusion:
 We conclude that while going through the entire industrial visit,
the cooperation is found to be very well organized ,developed &
most ideal industry in every walk of its production, administration
& management aspects.
