WEEK NO.

5 (31 January 2022 to 6 February 2022)

This week, I updated all the sheets as per the standard of our plant. Our
industrial guide told us to arrange the division as per the guidance given by
our safety engineer Mr. Aakash Deep sir.
We coordinated with him and understood the guidance given by him. At first we studied
the division’s layout and took all the measurements to make a plan on how to define a
place for the particular project.
We had then made the plan layout as per the guidance, but there was some mistake in the
layout which we had done. Our industrial guide helped me to rectify that mistake and I
redesigned the layout and then submitted it to our guide.

WEEK NO.6 (7 February 2022 to 13 February 2022)

This week, we did observations for the division, planned and discussed it with our industrial
guide. We made aisle marking and rearranged the table, made lines for safety but it took us
three days.
This week, I had done a Time and Motion study of four different products. By the study and
analysis, I observed that I had a chance to save 3 headcounts in one product packing style.
So, I implemented it in the division and restudied it and then had success with changes.

WEEK NO.7 (14 February 2022 to 20 February 2022)

This week, we had planned for the conveyer project, which we had to do at the end of the
internship.
In this, in meeting with our guide, our industrial guide helped me to get all data to validate what we
were doing. For this, we have got a data of the last one-year order summary from Mr. Sumeet sir
who belonged to the PPC department. This week I had done TMS of four different products.

WEEK NO.8 (21 February 2022 to 27 February 2022)

This week, with the help of the supervisors of different departments, we have implemented
our layout plan. This week we visited the Daman plant and did a Time and Motion study of
one product. This week, I had also done time for eight different products.
This week we had a project of defining inventory for a one-product auto-assembly machine.
In this, we were given data by measuring the space we have and also measuring the
capacity of the machine.
We then calculated the needs of the machine, marked the inventory as per requirement
and also made the inventory and finally made the space clear and workable.

WEEK NO.9 (28 February 2022 to 05 March 2022)

This week, I had done nine different products. We did measurements on another Auto-
assemble machine. We also reviewed the data we had for our conveyor project.
I learned the short stop analysis which is used to track equipment downtime from
Mr. Keyur Solanki - the production engineer.
I also learned the functions at production of plan control department from Mr. Sumeet
Mehta sir - Sr. Executive of the PPC department. I standardized the February work which I
had done.
