1. Sydney Opera House

The Australians have the Opera House which is the World Heritage-listed masterpiece of the
‘human creative genius’. It is the country's most popular tourist place to visit and one of the most
crowded  performing arts center, with over 10.9 million tourists every year and over 1,800
performances are regularly attended by over 1.4 million tourists. According to Deloitte, the
Sydney Opera House has a set of cultural and culturally significant worth of $6.2 billion to
Australia.

Vision

The vision of Sydney Opera house is to promote a bold and inspiring value just like them.

Mission

 The Opera house wants to enrich culture and give musicians, artists, performers, dancers
and many more the stage today and for the upcoming future generations.
 They believe in building up a community and inspire the next generation

Policies

 Access to Information Policy – This policy grants that all the people who would come
to the opera house with the required information regarding the house.
 Artworks Management Policy – All the artworks in the opera house are being managed
properly and the artist are given proper credits.
 Code of Conduct – The Sydney Opera House continues to uphold a strong Code of
Conduct.
 Customer Feedback Policy - Sydney Opera House wants to provide an outstanding and
enjoyable experience for all customers. 
 Customer Privacy Statement – All the data and information that has been collected
while entering the Opera house is being given the required security and their information
is kept safe.
 Information Classification Policy – All the information is been set as per requirements
and has been managed properly.
 Environmental Sustainability Policy - Sydney Opera House is committed to
Environmental Sustainability.
 Information Security Management System (ISMS) Policy – the opera house manages
and keeps all the information, data, statistics secure within their system.
 WHS Policy statement – There is a safe work policy that they follow in the Opera
house.

Environmental sustainability policy

According to the Opera House the policy outlines that the Opera house has an ongoing
commitment to environmental sustainability and would be contributing more in the years ahead.

4. Meeting arrangement

After a meeting with the assessor it was decided that there need to be a policy for sustainability
and development for the Opera House. To make that sustainable development a success and help
the Opera House achieve their targets they need to save the non-renewable resources and use
only the renewable resources for their operations. Also there needs to be an a waste management
which would help in recycling and also make the Opera house use the waste materials as a
source of energy. According to the assessor there needs to be a presentation which would include
the audience feedback so that they would be able to make the changes based on their interest too.

5. Implementation plan and monitoring strategy

The monitoring strategy and the implementation plan after the meeting has been handed over to
the assessor and a copy has been kept for future upgrades.

IMPLEMENTATION & PRESENTATION

SLIDE 1 The Sydney Opera House

The opera house is indeed a masterpiece of 20th-century modernist architecture and a


revolutionary environmental structure that was amongst the latest to try measures that are today
regarded forefront of innovation, such as using harbor water for cooling for air-conditioning
systems. In 2010, they developed their first environmental sustainability policy. Ever since,
they've attained significant energy production improvements, as well as a new level of
commitment among opera house employees in their environmental projects, can be seen.

• EMBED, ENGAGE AND INSPIRE CHANGE – The main motive of the Opera house
sustainable plan is to inspire the future generation through their operations and set an
example for others.
• ENGAGE OUR STAFF – There are different training programs that are being set for
the Employees and staff so that they follow the infrastructure development and carry on
with their work.

2. Green program training – This program is for the representative of the sustainable operations
that are there for opera House. All the necessary sustainable procedures are being taught to them.

they need to follow as they would need

architectural and cultural activities and programs, but there are various safeguards in place
