Reflection Paper

My Amadeus Certification Training journey did not go as smooth as I want it to be but I don’t let
that discourage me to learn the course. PNR creation is not easy to memorize with just one reading. So
you really need to read the terms and codes thoroughly to be familiarized to them. In that way if you
use it when you are already in the industry you will be able to make a booking more easily. And it will
give you more confidence that you knows you have an edge over others.

By creating PNR there is 5 mandatory elements, Segment element, Name element, Phone
contact element, Ticketing element, Received From element. In creating there are be times that I have
an error on entering the booking class, that’s the part where I always panicked. It happens again on the
Certification exam. The booking class shows the “Listed…” “Closed….” “Waiting….” something like that.
I already enter many booking class and it still can’t make it. But I still manage to do it, maybe.

With what our Professor taught about the subject, our skills were further honed due to the
situational problems we encountered. Situations that we can also encounter in the future or in the
industry itself. While on training, I encountered some problems. Lack of device needed, internet
connection etc. To the point that it is exhausting for me because it is difficult to pick up the lessons. But I
also just listened to Ma’am Rovi, and I realized that if I wanted to I can do it. These challenges that I face
tells me that I shouldn’t give up and I should solve it in anyways it takes. Maybe I can’t use this
certification knowledge for now but I believe this will be a great help to me in the future.
