Amelia graduated from Universitas Harapan for her associate degree in Japanese Literature
and continue to Universitas Sumatera Utara for her bachelor’s degree in Japanese Literature.
With this background, she is very enthusiastic about various kinds of issues from Japanese
culture, 2D illustration, and creative digital contents in social media. She is an energetic
individual with a strong consultative approach and outstanding communication skill. Highly

She was a sales administrator at PT. Metal One Indonesia, a steel service center processing automotive steel sheet.
Currently, she is an administration staff for Japanese Language at Japan Foundation. She got 2+ years experiences in

Japanese Language Administrator
Handled general administration task low-to-high level administrative support including correspondences, filings, MoMs,
presentations (Broad variety of confidential and non-confidential administrative tasks).
Analyzed problems that arise during project and reported to the Assistant Director/Supervisors. It involves tracking
deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process.
Handled administration task for projects/events related to support Japanese language education in Indonesia while
at the same time create a project dashboard, which outlines both the projects currently underway and those on the
backlog, with their priority according to the overall program objectives.
Handled projects/events related to support Japanese language education in Indonesia (Japanese Language
Proficiency Test for 12 areas in Indonesia with approximately 500+ participants per area, 19th Japanese Language
Speech Contest for High School, 1st Japanese Language Presentation Contest for High School, Japanese Speaker
Forum).
Handling media activity promotion, event promotion by creating publication materials for social media such as, but
not limited to poster using various design software.
Plan, attend and coordinate in office events for public and evaluating the existing program.

- Chosen to become 1 of 50 students in Indonesia who got a fully funded exchange student program by Japanese
Embassy in Indonesia for 10 days.
- Went to Odakyu Dai-ichi Seimei Building in the seminar room 2 JICE for Japanese communication practice.
Learned about introduction, and proper ways to do in homestay at Japanese homes to prepare for tomorrow's
homestay activities. In addition, we were trained to introduce Indonesian culture through presentations, which
will be presented in front of high school students in Yamanashi Prefecture.
- Visited Yamanashi Prefecture to introduce Indonesian culture and learn more about Japanese culture with
university students in Yamanashi Gakuin University, and high school students in Kofu First High School.
Homestay with Japanese families from Kofu First High School for 2 days and went around the town in the next
day to blend in with Japanese people and culture.
- After back to Indonesia, we did a presentation about our exchange’s activities at the residence of Consulate General
of Japan with other university students and the chosen students in our area (Medan).
