School intervention programs are sets of instructions given to students who are not performing at their best.

It contains specific programs for each group of


students identified by the subject they are struggling with.
It is important to note that each student has their own particular sets of weaknesses that should be addressed differently. Thus the need for the many forms of
school intervention programs that a child can be exposed to.

How do you develop an intervention?


1. Decide what needs to happen. ...(action steps)
2. Use a measurement system to gather information about the level of the problem. ...(MEA, assessment results, others)
3. Decide who the intervention should help. ...(Identify the learners)
4. Involve potential clients or end users of the intervention. ...(persons responsible/involved)
5. Identify the issues or problems you will attempt to solve together…(need for an orientation/one-on-one/communication)
