Pre-assessment of current knowledge: I will play different sounds (music, animal noises, people talking, and instruments) to see how the child responds when
hearing the different sounds. When people are talking does the child move their head or eyes to look at the people talking. Observe how the child reacts to
different genres of music. Observe of the child makes any movements or facial expressions when hearing any specific sounds. This pre-assessment will give me
some idea of the child’s response to sounds before beginning this lesson with the child.
