(su) "good" combined with (niti) "administration, conduct and guidance".

The pessimist complains about the wind;

the optimist expects it to change;
the realist adjusts the sails.
~ William Arthur Ward.

Some of the most influential members of our society don’t have an official title that designates them as
a “community leader.” In any given municipality, it’s quite likely that individuals who hold certain roles,
such as elected officials, are de facto community leaders. But it’s equally true that many of the most
prominent leaders in a given community get their influence not on the basis of any official position of
authority, but rather because they possess certain traits that enable them to represent their locality and
drive progressive social change. A true community leader can come in many shapes and sizes, but there
are particular characteristics that are innate in almost all great leaders. The point of discussion is on Dr
Suniti Mund, PhD (h.c.)

In life, profession and vocation one comes across several persona who leave an imprint in our minds.
The cross - roads of life does show many a direction but it is people like you and I who choose the road to
be taken and try to carve a niche for ourselves. As part of the Society's ambassadorship legacy as
respectable member of the Society, I respect and value the professional and personal networking support
opportunities Suniti has received during from among the best ambassadors Mother Earth could provide.
The friendships, collegiality, and strong emotional/social support system of Suniti is her greatest asset and
any future services should encourage, promote, and facilitate ease of communication in a "members-
only" forum for the continued sharing of knowledge, ideas, and strategies to further enhance the health,
achievement, and wellbeing of Bhubaneswar and Bhabanipatna.

Navigating the seas of state machinery is and can be challenging. There are times when you just want to
“abandon ship” and swim to shore without a life preserver. If you are a skilled swimmer, maybe you
survive the sharks. In state machinery, the storms come and go with the politically aware winds. Learning
to navigate those waters takes time, patience, and friends who truly understand. This is what makes
Suniti an iron lady with a grit of steel and perseverance made of mortar. Even in the most supportive work
environment, it can be difficult to understand the challenges of societal requirements while monitoring
standards and assessment. Suniti encourages membership in the society to help navigate those challenges
and take advantage of the experience and expertise of others.

Today’s ambassadors need the ability to address complex challenges in new and innovative ways.
Ambassadors shape our nations, communities and society. Herein, the Society pitches in Suniti. We need
good ambassadors like Suniti to help guide us and make the essential large-scale decisions that keep the
world moving. Our society is usually quick to identify a bad ambassador, but how can you identify a good
one? What would most people say makes a good ambassador? The importance of integrity should be
obvious. Though it may not necessarily be a metric in employee evaluations, integrity is an essential
ambassadorship trait for the individual and the society. It’s especially important for top-level
Ambassadors who are charting the society’s course and making countless other significant decisions. Our
observations shows that integrity may actually be a potential blind spot for society. Suniti makes sure that
society reinforces the importance of honesty and integrity to ambassadors at various levels. The best
ambassadors are skilled communicators who are able to communicate in a variety of ways, from
transmitting information to inspiring others to coaching direct reports. And you must be able to listen to,
and communicate with, a wide range of people across roles, geographies, social identities, and more. The
quality and effectiveness of communication among ambassadors across your organization directly affects
the success of your business strategy, too.

Being thankful can lead to higher self-esteem, reduced depression and anxiety, and better sleep.
Gratitude can even make you a better ambassador. Yet few people like Suniti regularly say “thank you” in
work settings, even though most people say they’d be willing to work harder for an appreciative boss. The
best ambassadors know how to demonstrate sincere gratitude in the workplace.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Suniti, our ambassador of the day, creates an inspiring vision of the future., Motivates and inspires
people to engage with that vision, manages delivery of the vision, coaches and builds a team, so that it is
more effective at achieving the vision and inspires for tomorrow. Perhaps the greatest quality Suniti has is
vision - the ability to see the big picture of where the organization or team they are working within is
headed, what it's capable of, and what it will take to get there. Equally as important as having a vision of
Suniti is the ability to convey that vision to others, and get them excited about it. This means maintaining
a positive yet realistic presence within the organization helping team members stay motivated and
engaged, and remember what it is that they are working for. A good leader like Suniti has the ability to
think critically about the organization or team they work within, and develop a clear understanding of its
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (and how they as an individual can work to support or
overcome these). They'll be able to course-correct when necessary, and be able to assess the work they
do to determine how it fits into overall organizational strategy and goals. Suniti is a Being a good leader
being open to new ideas, possibilities, and perspectives, and understanding that there's no "right" way to
do things. Leadership involves the knowledge that success comes with a willingness to change how things
are done and to bring in fresh eyes to inspire new ideas, in addition to trying to think outside the box as
much as possible. Leaders must be able to listen, observe, and be willing to change course when
necessary.

A great leader has an innate desire to lead; in fact, a great leader is someone that is going to blaze trails
in almost any situation, as if they don’t even have a choice in the matter. A great community leader not
only has the motivation to affect positive change in the community, but they also want to be at the
forefront of that transformation.  They inherently possess the dedication and drive that is a paramount
necessity in being an effective leader and they are willing to put in the time and effort towards service,
selflessly providing their time and effort for the greater good. Finally, a great leader is not only able to
evolve and grow throughout the course of their leadership tenure, they have a fierce eagerness to learn
and adapt. It’s not enough to just be willing to pay lip service to other people’s thoughts and ideas; an
effective leader needs to be open-minded enough to “listen, learn and change course” when new
perspectives on a given situation are obtained.

A lady with a vision, who never felt alone, always ready to mount the Black Charger, never felt the need
to disassociate from a connect with the people, the Mass, God – fearing, always strives to solve the issues
in sight, a relentless pursuit for Societal improvement and progress, believes in present, committed,
betrothed , engaged, affianced , bounden , wholehearted, pledged, unwavering, appropriated, focussed,
bent, devout, ardent, obliged, ardent , caring ,concerned ,devout , doting , dutiful beholden,  dedicated ,
loyal and hard-working, never harmed anyone, is a perfect Ambassador of today and of the Mass
tomorrow.

Her loss is a loss to the Society. Loss of the Society is a loss to the region and loss to the region is a loss
to the Nation
