BHAKTI SASTRI - SRI ISOPANISAD – EXAM GUIDELINES

Please read the following Instructions carefully for the Sri Isopanisad Exam:

This is 3-hour theory written subjective exam. Typing is not allowed. All students need to write this exam by hand, in their
chosen language (English/Hindi). Students giving online exam need to

i. arrange appropriate Nos. of proper ruled sheets (register size/approx. A4 size) to write their exam and Pen.
ii. two devices – one for Zoom camera and second for scanning and uploading once your exam is finished.

10:30am: Admission time. Your Zoom device positioning and surroundings will be checked. The name of your Zoom device
must be your registered Bhakti Sastri name. Your Zoom device must be placed close to electrical switch board. Ensure your
device is fully charged and always plugged in because generally devices do not last for 3 hours on Zoom. Students will not
be allowed to go to the washroom after the question paper is shared.

10:45am: At the top of your answer sheet, only write your complete 7-character roll number. Do NOT write your name
anywhere on the answer sheet. You will be shown the question paper on Zoom via screen share. Do not take screenshots.
This is because you will not be allowed to look at/touch/come close to your phone/laptop screen once the exam begins.
You will have 15mins to note down all questions on your answer sheet. This is student’s responsibility to correctly note
down all questions along with the allocated marks.

11am: The admin will stop screen share. By then, you would have noted down your questions. You must place your Zoom
device at eye level 5-6 feet away from you so that we can see you in full, including your tabletop, sheets, hands and
surroundings. After 11am, no student will be allowed to come close to any mobile/tablet/laptop. No student can get up
from their seat or leave the meeting before 2:00pm because Google Classroom will open for answer-sheets PDF submission
at 2pm only. Keep your chanting bag with you before sitting for the exam. In case you finish early, you can utilize your time
by chanting. Still your camera must be on till the point you have successfully submitted your answer-sheets PDF. Just like
you have been uploading your OBE (Open Book Exam), in the same way you need to upload the PDF of your written CBE.

1. Keep your Zoom video always "ON" so that we can see you. Ensure your wifi/internet is seamless.

2. Devotees with camera off will definitely be removed and won't be allowed to attempt the exam.

3. We trust you as Vaishnavas, so avoid talking, cheating, using notes, web browsing, copying from books and study
material etc. Moving your head frequently in direction away from your answer-sheets will invite suspicion.

4. Only a single attempt is allowed to submit your answer-sheets PDF. So, it is your responsibility to ensure that your
PDF is created properly. Please write page numbers on top of each page. Click images in the correct order of pages. The first
page of your answer-sheets would have all the questions written. Mark this page on top as number 1 and continue the
numbering ahead sequentially. Your PDF should start from page 1. Your page images should only include the page till its
borders. Images must be clearly clicked, fully focused in bright light. Avoid shadows/hands/clothes in the images. Your
handwriting should be readable. Make only one PDF file of your CBE. Please follow these instructions so that the teacher
can correct your answer sheets fairly.
5. Minimum passing percentage for this CBE is 65%, as has already been shared in the Bhakti Sastri Guidelines.

Sri Isopanisad exam is of 100 marks (Theory written exam is of 95 marks, Oral recitation is of 5 marks)
