3. Instruction- learning Process- Students will gather onto the carpet. I will ask students
what they wear in their culture. I would ask them to show me a raise of hands and get a few
answers. I would show a demonstration on what my culture wears in my country. Then
afterwards, I will read them a book about different physical features around the world and how
they look, dress in different countries. Afterwards, we will do a mini lesson plan, then our guided
practice, and then do our crafty activity. These students will be given an exit that they must fill
out before leaving school.

Create a detailed outline explaining the multicultural activity following the

teaching design below:
 ● Do First: (5 minutes.): We would start on reading a multicultural book that is
about different people around the world
● Mini-lesson: (15 minutes): Today you will learn about the different physical
features of people from around the world. We will look up different children around
different countries and write down what they look like.
● Guided Practice: (10 minutes): Students will get a worksheet about different
countries
● Independent Practice: (20 min.): Students will create their very own physical
features of people from different countries.
● Exit Slip: (5 minutes): Students will get an exit slip explaining how they felt about
today's activity. If they enjoyed it and one fact they found interesting today.

I think this is a fun lesson activity. It is not just listening to a story all day or doing
worksheets. I wanted to incorporate a fun creative project with it so children do.
