People, governments, and private organizations around the world are increasingly
interacting, collaborating, and integrating as a result of globalization. This process
manifests itself in a variety of ways, including international trade, capital flows,
migration, technological transfer, and cultural exchanges. To some extent, cultural
globalization manifests itself in multiculturalism and cosmopolitanism. Even those
who are unable to travel can now develop a greater understanding of other cultures
and meet people from all over the world, and communities are less isolated than
ever before. Global cultural and consumption trends influence people's perspectives
and lifestyles. Due to Globalization, we adapt and accept other cultures but the
negative effect of this is sometimes people tend to forget about their own culture and
just focus on the culture of other people.

The effects of Globalization can be also seen in politics. The positive effects include
financial assistance and access to international aid. It greatly helps in the world's
peace. It decreases the risk of invasions, increases the checks and balances on big
powers, and limits nationalism. When it comes to spreading values like freedom and
fighting abuses within countries, international organizations are frequently committed
to doing so. Smaller countries can collaborate and gain international authority, and
governments can learn from one another. However, there are also negative effects
of Globalization on politics. In terms of representation and governance, the
functioning of international and multinational organizations is frequently not
"democratic." In supranational organizations, big countries can influence decisions.
Coordination is complex and costly, and even sometimes states can overrule
decisions and delay decision-making procedures

1. Identify the impacts of globalization in communication.

• It has become much easier than it was a few years ago to communicate
with people from the other side of the world. The exchange of information
with people in different time zones and locations is made simple by
satellites, and the internet. The globalization process has a direct impact
on global communication, which helps to expand business opportunities,
break down cultural barriers, and build a global village. Data can be
exchanged from one country to another as a valuable company asset
thanks to global communications. Despite where they are located, this
has the effect of making everyone's operations more modern and
efficient. Cultural barriers have also become less widespread as a result
of television and movies. People can more easily understand each
other's cultures if they can communicate effectively and frequently with
colleagues or friends from all over the world.

2. What are the benefits of globalization for local and foreign employees?

• Globalization can better match supply and demand by permitting

individual employees to move to other countries. Countries that excel at
educating certain types of professionals can export them to other
countries that do not have the same expertise. If you find it difficult to
pick a suitable skill in your own home nation, an advantage of
globalization is that you'll be able to source workers in another country
where there is significant capability in that area.

3. What's the role of communication in a diverse workplace?

• Employees are bound together by communication, which is an effective

tool that plays an important role in bringing them together. Employee
communication is critical in breaking the ice, bringing them closer
together, and thus managing organizational diversity. To learn about
each other's customs, traditions, religions, cultures, and so on, people
must be able to communicate effectively. They will treat each other as
enemies if you don't allow them to sit together and talk, and it will be
extremely difficult for them to work together. Effective communication, in
a sense, not only manages organizational diversity but also creates a
positive working environment. There may be times when team members
have misunderstandings, but it is always better if employees meet face to
face, talk, and resolve them as soon as possible. When employees can
communicate effectively with one another, they are more productive.
