Alex: Does your school have a remedial program?

Jay: Yes we do have.

Alex: Which school are you working at now? Is it a public or private school?

Jay: I'm currently teaching in St. Louisse Academy- Compostela Campus. It is a private school.

Alex: I see. Then what subjects are you handling, Mr. Jay?

Jay: I handled Science, TLE, ESP and MAPEH.

Christine: Have you tried teaching remedial classes, Mr. Jay?

Jay: Yes, twice I guess.

Christine: I see. So, what are the most frequent learning difficulties/issues you've experienced

in the classroom?
Jay: Well in a classroom set up, so far the most common problem and difficulties is the attitude

of the students where you need to understand them because not all can easily catch up on the

lesson.

Christine: Oh, is that so, I guess you really are patient Mr. Jay when it comes to handling your

students.

Jay: Yes, as I should because that is what a teacher should be.

Christine: I see. Moving on to the next question, what remedial measures you've used to

address the difficulties/issues in the classroom?

Jay: I gave activities where they are capable with.

Alex: Okay then, how were you able to be successful in using specific remedial measures?

Jay: I became successful in that aspect by giving patience and understanding.

Alex: Oh, I see. How often do you use the effective remedial measures to address the certain
issues in the classroom?

Jay: Maybe, twice a week if it’s really needed for the kid to have remedial class.

Christine: I see. You are really capable of handling your students Mr. Jay and thank you so

much for sharing your experiences. This will really help us and give us ideas for effective

teaching practices in the future.

Alex: That is all our questions Mr. Jay, thank you so much for your time.

Jay: You’re welcome.
