SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT TECHICAL WORKING


GROUP ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
S.Y. 2017-2018

The School SBM Coordinator shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Acts as the focal person and liaison officer for SBM in the school in relation to
SBM implementation.
2. Takes the Lead in:
 Gathering accurate and reliable data in analyzing and
interpreting the same:
 Submitting reports on the status of SB, implementation to the
District SBM Coordinator: and
 Initiating collaborative meeting to maintain effective
partnership
3. Assist the District SBM Coordinator in:
 Disseminating SBM initiatives for school improvement:
 Facilitating SBM roll-out to ensure compliance to the
guidelines and standards:
 Maintaining data-based system on the school’s level SBM
implementation along the four dimensions:
 Monitoring the Progress of SBM levels of practice in the school
as basis for technical assistance to chairperson for continuous
improvement:
 Defining the roles and responsibilities to chairperson for
continuous improvement:
 Defining the roles and responsibilities of the School SBM
Coordinating Team.
4. Assists in the implementation of M&E related activities within the school and
provides timely and relevant information to stakeholders.

A clear, performance transparent, inclusive and responsive accountability
system is in place, collaboratively developed by by the school community,
which monitors performance and acts appropriately on gaps and gains.

4. Convergence to Harness Resources for Education:


Resources are collectively organized, judiciously mobilized and managed
with transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency to support targeted education
outcome.
