Sidang Kemuncak Kerjasama Ekonomi Asia Pasifik (APEC) 2020 yang dijalankan secara maya,
Malaysia akan terus berperanan penting di peringkat antarabangsa.
“ Ini termasuk menerusi Kerangka Pemulihan Komprehensif ASEAN yang dipersetujui pada sidang
Kemuncak ASEAN ke-37, menjamin Malaysia sentiasa mempunyai akses kepada vaksin. Perkara itu
termasuk vaksin generasi baharu, di samping berusaha memperluaskan pengiktirafan global sijil
kesihatan digital atau passport dan memudah cara kepulangan rakyat Malaysia yang terkandas di
luar negara” katanya.
Beliau berkata, krisis kesihatan, kemanusiaan dan ekonomi yang disebabkan oleh wabak COVID-19
tidak hanya memerlukan kerjasama tempatan, tetapi bantuan antarabangsa terutama dalam
