The title of my current speech is how to realize moderate religion in Indonesia.

Okay before I start my speech, first we will explainwhat is moderation ? the
word modernization means moderate attitude, moderate attitude or
avoidance of violence or extreme avoidance. While the modernization of
religion in the form of extreme behavior or disclosure.
And what is the importance of religious moderation? okay, because we live in
Indonesia and we know that the Indonesian nation is already famous for its
diverse culture and diverse attitudes, because of the various kinds of diversity
with various national cultures so that Indonesia often has conflicts between
cultures and religions. Therefore, the Indonesian people need religious
moderation, so that people make a religious approach an option to build
harmony between people. The approach chosen is of course a peaceful
religious attitude that is in accordance with the multicultural culture of the
Indonesian people. With this approach, religious modernization that is friendly,
tolerant, flexible, can be the answer to the concerns of conflicts that are rife in
a multicultural society.

Okay, let's go straight to our topic, how to realize religious moderation,

religious moderation according to the great teacher Quraish Shihab. we must
understand the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith by paying attention to the
purpose of the presence of religion, juxtaposing and synergizing the noble
messages of religion with the progress of the time and cooperation with all
Muslim circles is tolerant of differences of opinion, both internal and external
to Muslims. Then gather and unite knowledge with faith, moral power. As well
as upholding human and social principles and values, such as justice, freedom,
responsibility, and human rights. the last one invites according to the corridor
of religion and fosters unity and unity not differences and disputes, with
moderate Islam will be Indonesia's strength to distribute knowledge to
Muslims in the world, especially to create global peace, so that Islam can be
understood contextually. This understanding is very important to create
mutual respect and appreciation. and to the government, community leaders.
and religious educators to disseminate information about religion moderation
to the Indonesian people for the sake of realizing harmony and peace.
