Final Project: Group Topic (Report)

Students are required form small groups of 2 or 3 members.


Your group must choose one important current trend (internationally or in Canada) and discuss the
pros and cons of it. They should analyze what has happened (or is happening) and use multiple
sources of information.

Guidelines for The Project

▪ Identify the issues


▪ Analyze the issues into the respective 5 Ws (What, Where, When , Who and Why) and 1H
(How)
▪ What are the positive and negative implications to macro and micro environments?
▪ What have been done and implemented to control and eradicate the issues? How effective
are the measures taken?
▪ How has the media covered it? What are the aspects of it that the media covered well or
hided from the public.
▪ What would be your personal opinion and conclusion on the issues discussed?
Assignment Structure:

▪ Cover Page (including the course name, members names and HID numbers, semester)
▪ Introduction
▪ Body
▪ Recommendations and Conclusion
▪ References

Assignment Format:

▪ Font type & size – Times New Roman/ Arial; Size 12


▪ Alignment of paragraphs is to be justified
▪ Spacing – 1.5; printed on a single page
▪ Word count: Approximately 1250 words plus/minus 20%; excluding cover page, table of
contents, and references
