Equipment Covered Under This Contract:

General Terms and Conditions for Annual Maintenance Contract.


Scheduled Maintenance Visits:
1.1. SSIPL shall prepare a Service Schedule and Check Sheet detailing therein the necessary periodic
inspections and servicing of the equipments prior to the commencement date of the AMC.
1.2. SSIPL service engineer shall make 12 visits in a year at a frequency of one visit per month
during the period of contract, each of maximum one day.
Apart from regular visits, if need arises, SSIPL shall provide three (3) extra visits per year per
equipment put together on FOC basis. Beyond this, all other visits will be charged @ 8,000.00
per day + applicable taxes and conveyance on your account (wherever applicable).
1.3. SSIPL shall carry out the maintenance of the equipment as per programme mentioned above
and shall ensure that all the activities listed in the Service Schedule and Check Sheet are
performed on schedule dates mentioned in the programme as well as the check list referred to
above.
1.4. SSIPL and the customer shall maintain the dates mutually agreed for the routine, preventive
maintenance services of the equipments.
1.5. The routine and preventive maintenance, monitoring and servicing of equipment shall include,
service, minor repairs, replacement of parts, components or sub-assembly, inspections and
condition. Major repairs or dismantling, re-commissioning and relocation of the machine or part
of it are excluded from this contract.
1.6. General / Scheduled maintenance of the components like Engine, Compressor, Gear Box, Electric
Motors are included in this contract. But for carrying out any special job for the said
components like major overhauling, rewinding of electrical motors etc. or any other work for
which it is required to seek help from the manufacturer or it is required to be carried out
elsewhere than project site or at any other workshop, shall be paid extra (at actual) by the
customer.
1.7. SSIPL shall not be held responsible for any amount wastage / loss of Produced Concrete or Raw
material due to any reason during the process and also for reconciliation of Concrete Produced
or Raw Material Consumed.
1.8. SSIPL shall provide report against routine and preventive maintenance together with
monitoring and servicing carried out on the equipments.
1.9. The Customer shall inform SSIPL about any problem noticed by it during the
operation/inspection of the equipment immediately.
1.10. The Customer shall maintain Log Book for the above purpose. Format of Daily Log Sheet shall be
provided by SSIPL.
1.11. Calibration (for Batching Plants only) will be done on quarterly basis. Any extra requirement of
calibration by customer will be on extra chargeable basis @ Rs. 10,000/- + applicable GST per
calibration & will be billed through separate invoice.

Daily General Maintenance
1.12. The daily general maintenance of the equipment like Greasing of the components, Cleaning &
Chipping of concrete, maintaining cleanliness of the equipment & surrounding area shall be
carried out by the customer as per requirement or as per advise from SSIPL engineer.

Unscheduled Maintenance
1.13. If at any time the operator notices any operational problem of equipment, the same shall be
reported to the SSIPL representative and the customer if need arises, shall stop operating the
equipment till the defect is rectified.
1.14. Any major overhauling of the equipment or its sub components are excluded from the scope of
job during monthly visits. Such jobs are complied only through Emergency visits.

SSIPL’s Responsibility
1.15. SSIPL shall be responsible for the General or Scheduled Maintenance activity of the equipment
covered under this contract. They shall monitor the operating and maintenance procedure of
the equipment and shall ensure that all the activities listed in the Service Schedules and Check
Sheets are performed on schedule dates throughout the contact period.
1.16. SSIPL shall prepare a Service Schedule and Check Sheet detailing therein the necessary periodic
inspections and servicing of the equipment during the monthly visits from the commencement
of the contract. This may be amended or altered by SSIPL for better service of the equipment
whenever necessitated.
1.17. Whenever a machine will be attended for a particular job, SSIPL’s representative will raise
necessary Service Report and the same has to be duly signed by the customer’s representative.

Customer’s Responsibility
1.18. The customer shall use and provide clean fuel, lubricant, lubricating oil, as per specifications
furnished by SSIPL.
1.19. If required the facilities like Crane, Welding, cutting etc. shall be arranged by the customer
without charging anything extra to SSIPL.
1.20. The customer shall make equipment available as per advance schedule prepared on mutually
agreed basis for routine or periodic maintenance and repairs.
1.21. The Customer shall provide necessary manpower, spares, tools and tackles to SSIPL engineers
to carry out preventive maintenance and repairs.
1.22. The Customer shall employ well trained operators. SSIPL engineer shall provide basic training
to operators to enhance their skill levels. The customer may choose to enroll operation in SSI in
house training school at the normal fee applicable to all.
1.23. The customer shall take corrective action on SSIPL’s suggestion if an employee is found not
performing the job required to maintain health and safety of the equipment.
1.24. The customer shall purchase ALL NECESSARY WEAR PARTS & SERVICE FROM SSIPL for
SCHWING Stetter Equipment, unless otherwise excluded from SSIPL’s scope.
1.25. Purchase of spurious parts by the customer will exclude SSIPL from its obligations under the
contract.
1.26. The customer representative at site shall take utmost care to see that the Log Sheets are duly
filled up on daily basis. Otherwise, SSIPL shall take up the matter with customer for corrective
measures besides providing training required for filling up the data in the Log Sheet.

1.27. Whenever any third party is involved in service, the cost of the “Spare Parts and Service
charges” of the third party will be in customer scope.
1.28. The customer shall provide the Wash down Facility required for cleaning of the equipments if
desired by SSIPL.
1.29. If any damage to the equipment happens/occurs due to accident or otherwise, the Customer
shall be responsible for additional payment for both Labour Charges & Spare Parts, to rectify
such damage of equipment. SSIPL shall undertake such repairs and will invoice separately.

ANNUAL CONTRACT FEE

1.30. Service Charge of Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand Only) + Applicable Service Tax
per year per equipment from the date of commencement of this agreement. This charge is
exclusive of local duties and service taxes, which are payable extra by the customer as per the
prevailing rate (wherever applicable).
1.31. These service charges are exclusive of any Dismantling, Re Erection & Commissioning
charges in case the equipment is shifted from one location to another & the same has to be paid
extra by the customer as per scope of job.
1.32. The mode of payment will be 100% advance before the date of commencement of the contract.
The payment has to be made through Cheque/ RTGS/ DD (payable at Bhubaneswar) in favor of
M/s Schwing Stetter (I) Pvt Ltd. Schwing Stetter reserves the right to stop the scheduled service
visits on non receipt of the payment in time.
