Preventer
Control Systems

Accumulator and Manifold Unit


1. The unit should be located a safe distance (100-150 feet)
from the well bore to allow personnel to manually operate the
control valves during a blowout and/or fire at the rig (See
Pages 4660 & 4661).

2. Pipe or tubing (preferably on racks) of sufficient size and
