 Telegrams (or telegraph messages) - any device or system that allows the transmission of
information by coded signal over distance.
 Handwritten letters or messages - something that's made by the hands and is written with a
pen or a pencil not typed or printed.

My mother said that these two are present when she was at her younger age and for her these two has
an advantage that many people and also her find it more resourceful and original because it is coming
from real events and real thoughts but the disadvantages are these two are so slow and too long for
them to receive it.

 Typewritten letters or messages – something written or produced using a keyboard on a

typewriter or a computer.
 E-mail messages – is a text, typically brief and informal, that is sent or received over a computer
network.
 Text (or SMS) messages - is the act of sending short, alphanumeric communications between
cellphones, pagers or other hand-held devices

For my mother, these three arrive at her middle age and she find it convenient because there
advantages are it is easy to use and she didn’t have to wait a long period of time to receive the reply but
the disadvantages are these three can be use to scam other people and nowadays, they are using these
to make death threats and for her it is not good.

 Facebook posts – are public messages posted to a Facebook user’s entire audience or on a
specific person’s profile page (or “wall”).
 Tweets - is a post on Twitter and the act of writing a tweet is called tweeting or twittering.
Tweets can be up to 140 characters long, including spaces, and can include URLs and hashtags.
 Instagram posts - is a photo or video that an Instagram user shares or post on the platform.

My mother said that these three arrive when the internet was created and these arrive at her 50’s and
she’s enjoy it. For her, the advantages of these three are to keep you updated and aware towards your
surroundings on what is happening outside or inside the country but for her the disadvantages of these
are the post that are not appropriate for children are there and these posts might influence the children
to do that because they though that it is good for them to do too. Also, scammers used these to scam
and threatened people, some are using the so called identity thief and using your profile without you
knowing it. These kind of disadvantages might cause harm to you and also to your surroundings too.
