and mastered the content to be discuss. A classroom teacher takes record of knowledge
concepts, instructional guides, and reference materials in paper or electronic media. It is
the role of the teacher to make plan of the curriculum. The teacher takes into consideration

There are three ways of approaching a curriculum, curriculum as a content or body of knowledge,
curriculum as a process and curriculum as a product. All curriculum has a content regardless of their
design or models, the focus must be in knowledge to be transmitted to the students using the
appropriate teaching methods. Curriculum can also be a process that happens in the classroom, it
is an active interacting and links with the practical form of reasoning by the students. Curriculum,
as a product, is set of defining documents that describe what is the learning process of the student,
it describe the related areas to be experienced within the lesson, and the intended results or
outcomes of performed activities.
6. Reflect on how the three approaches interrelate with each other
Content is related to other subject fields or discipline for complementation and integration. Content
is important in the transfer of learning in other disciplines. In the process, learning and teaching
styles should be considered. Every method or process should result to learning outcomes. Both
teaching and learning are the two important processes in the implementation of the curriculum.
Curriculum product is expressed in form of outcomes which are referred to as the achieved learning
outcomes. All of these are result of planning, content and processes in the curriculum
7. Why do we need to consider the maturity level and abilities of the learner in selecting the
content in the curriculum,
Maturity plays a role in a person's ability to accept responsibility for his or her own thoughts,
feelings, and behaviors. It affects their ability to keep track of his or her thinking and, in this case,
teacher must be aware to control the various emotions they may experience in a learning situation.
Maturity governs personal responsibility, shared communication, openness to new ideas, and ability
to find solutions to problems. Teachers must consider to know that it is directly relatable to
emotional control and reasoning of every students.
