1. Describe a well-disciplined classroom.


A well-disciplined classroom is a well-managed classroom in which students can learn in a task-
oriented environment. It is a positive place where a student can come to study toward specific learning
goals. A teachers should be positive, organized, outgoing, confident and compassionate towards the
educational success of their students. And as a teacher I should develop rules that foster respect and
caring for each other to achieve a well-disciplined classroom, I should develop self-disciplined among my
students.

2. As an effective teacher, how will you create a learning environment where students focus on learning?
As a future teacher, I can create a learning environment where students can focus on learning
through interactive learning activity. Using a learning centers is way of creating an engaging learning
environment for the students, when applying it, it is important to have a specific learning objectives that
will be accomplished by the students. Another way of creating a learning environment is considering the
students’ perspective. Giving them a sense of ownership is one way to encourage students to feel proud
of their work and classroom. Displaying their work is one strategy to help them take pride in their
classroom and respect space. Asking students for their thoughts on the classroom is another strategy
that you can utilize. As a teacher, it is important also to have a positive connections between the students’
parents for them to be informed about their child’s educational performance.

3. The school is a community. As a teacher, how will you engaged yourself in the community to win the
cooperation of the people so as to help the school to be an effective community?

A good school environment embraces the idea that all students can learn and environment works
to build safe learning spaces for students. As a teacher I should have the initiative to win the cooperation
of the people to have an effective community. To attain this, I must be prepared to make the most
favorable impression possible in even the most innocent of circumstances in order to maintain public
support. The community's perceptions of the teacher affect their perceptions of the school and
subsequently student confidence, school resources, and support for the school in general.
4. Explain the reasons for coming up with the K to 12 Curriculum in the Philippines.

The K 12 program in the Philippines was introduced in 2013. It was in 2013 when RA 10533 became
a law. This law is known as the “Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013”.
Prior to the implementation of the K-12 curriculum guide, the Philippines was one of only three
countries in the world and the only one in Asia that still had only 10 years in basic education. This has
been seen as disadvantage for our students who are competing in an increasingly global job market. The
longer educational cycle of the K-12 curriculum is seen as critical in giving Filipino students a higher
quality of education.
The very goal of the K 12 Program is to produce 21st-century graduates equipped with the core
values and lifelong competencies they need to contribute to societal development and nation-building.

5. As a future educator, how will you change your educational landscape for global competitiveness?
As future teacher, I must ensure that students learn how to interact with people from many
cultures and take action on issues that both local and global implications, because it develop students’
global awareness at the same time with critical thinking ability and literacy teaching that is beneficial to
students. To achieve global competitiveness I should create a classroom environment that values
diversity, a global learning experiences should be combined to my teaching. I should also facilitate and
assess intercultural development and collaboration of my students’ competency.
